Overview
This guide shows you how to enhance your audio experience by connecting a soundbar to your Sylvox TV via HDMI (ARC/eARC) or Optical cable.
1. Video Installation Guide
Please follow our detailed video guide below to get started:
2. Key Settings for Wired Connection (HDMI)
If you are using an HDMI cable to connect your soundbar, please ensure the CEC function is activated on your TV:
- Go to: All Settings > Channels & Inputs > CEC
- Make sure CEC is toggled ON. This allows your TV and soundbar to communicate and power on/off together.
3. Troubleshooting Connection Issues
If you cannot hear any sound after the initial setup, please try the following steps:
- Check the HDMI ARC Port:
Most Sylvox TVs have 2–3 HDMI ports. One of them is specifically labeled HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel). Ensure your soundbar is plugged into this specific port. - Swap Ports:
If the ARC port doesn't seem to work, try switching to a standard HDMI port or another available HDMI port to test the signal. - Check Cable Quality:
Ensure your HDMI cable is high-speed certified.
4. Still Need Help?
If the issue persists after following all the steps above, please provide our support team with the following information for further diagnosis:
- Your Connection Method: (e.g., HDMI ARC, Optical, or Bluetooth)
- At which step does the problem occur? (e.g., "The TV doesn't recognize the soundbar" or "Sound is distorted")
- Submit a Video:
Important: If none of the methods work, please record a short video showing the connection on the back of the TV and your current audio settings. Send this video to our service@sylvoxtv.com to help our technicians diagnose the issue more quickly.
