Step 1: Connection & Power
- Connect the Roku device to an HDMI port on your TV.
- Connect the Roku to a power source using the provided adapter.
- Switch your TV Input/Source to the correct HDMI channel.
Step 2: Remote Pairing
- Auto-Pairing: On initial startup, Roku will attempt to pair the remote automatically. Follow the on-screen prompts.
- Manual Pairing: If it doesn't pair automatically, press and hold the Pairing Button (usually located inside the battery compartment) for about 5 seconds until the status light flashes.
Step 3: Set Up TV Control (Brand Selection)
- Go to Settings > Remotes & Devices > Remote > Set up remote for TV control.
- Crucial Step: When prompted to select a TV brand, choose "RCA" from the list.
- Test the Controls:
- Roku will ask to test the Power Button. Press it and see if the TV turns off.
- If it works, select Yes. If not, select No to try the next code set.
- Repeat the test for Volume and Input buttons.
Success! You can now use your Roku remote to manage your Sylvox TV’s basic functions.
