Part 1: How to Scan for Local Channels
Follow this quick path on your remote to start the auto-tuning process:
Quick Path:
ALL SETTINGS → Channels & Inputs → Channel → Channel Scan → Antenna Auto Scan
Step-by-Step:
- Preparation: Ensure your RV antenna is raised and the Antenna Booster is turned ON (usually a small wall switch with a green LED).
- Access Settings: Press the Gear (Settings) button on your remote and select All Settings.
- Navigate to Channels: Go to Channels & Inputs, then select Channel.
- Start Scan: Choose Channel Scan and select Antenna Auto Scan.
- Wait for Completion: The TV will search for all available Digital (DTV) and Analog (ATV) channels. This may take a few minutes.
Part 2: How to Sort or Edit Your Channels
Once the scan is complete, you can reorder your channels for easier access:
- Go back to the Channel menu.
- Select Channel Manager (or Channel Edit).
- To Sort/Move: Highlight the channel you wish to move, select the "Move" option, and use the arrow keys to place it in your desired position.
- To Skip/Delete: You can also "Skip" unwanted channels so they don't appear when you flip through using the Channel +/- buttons.
💡 Pro-Tips for RV Owners:
- No Channels Found? Double-check that your antenna is correctly connected and the booster is powered on.
- Relocation: Remember to re-run this scan every time you move to a new campsite to update your local channel list.
